Chissmoul was a brilliant thapter pilot during the later days of the Lyrinx War, known to be descended from Yggur, through a union he had with a woman of Chissmoul's family two generations before her. Chissmoul was known for her reckless flourish whilest behind the controls of a thapter, and was devastated at the destruction of the nodes of power in 209 ATM, as it rendered thapters useless.
Having escaped the wrath of the self-proclaimed God-Emperor of all Santhenar, Jal-Nish Hlar, Chissmoul journeyed to the Isle of Noom, along with Yggur and her lover Flangers, so as to gain the aid of the Numinator. However, the Numinator imprisoned them for seven years, before they escaped and became instrumental in overthrowing the self proclaimed God-Emperor.
