God-Emperor is the title taken by Jal-Nish Hlar after taking control of Santhenar, through his use of the Profane Tears; Gatherer and Reaper. It is Jal-Nish's declaring himself a god that caused Vivimord to leave his service and become one of the leaders of the Defiance.
